A watch dog timer is used to notify the programmer that the time is expired. The watchdog timer resets the ATmega32U4 if the programmer does not reset it within 2 seconds.

(3) Remove the top of the above PCB.
(4) Remove the bottom of the above PCB.
(5) Reverse the above PCB.
(6) Check the above PCB for any shorts or other obvious problems. If any shorts are found, reverse the 2 PCBs again and check them again. If shorts are found, replace the PCB.
(7) Re-solder the traces and solder on the capacitors and Vcc.
(8) Re-solder the remaining connections and solder on the ATmega16U2.
